  • 25ml Gin
  • 20ml Luxardo Maraschino Originale
  • 20ml Fresh Lemon juice
  • 15ml Truffle mortadella syrup
  • 2 dashes Bitters

Italian Inspiration

Food is obviously my first inspiration when I think about Italy. Having lived close to the Italian border for 2 years, I had the chance of testing some amazing products, especially cured meats that have always blown my mind, my favourite being the mortadella. Luxardo Maraschino Originale is a fine, delicate liqueur, but still with Italian character, and I found interesting to work on this contrast that first can be surprising: having a sophisticated, light and crisp drink using meat. Moreover, antipasto Italian people put together amazes me: it is all about sharing and eating with your friends and family, all sorts of food, everybody loves. I tried to showcase all that in a glass, using elements from the antipasti that would be easily enjoyed by every one, thanks to Luxardo Maraschino Originale.


  • Put all the ingredients in a shaker.
  • Shake,
  • Double strain in a cocktail glass/coupette,
  • Garnish with an edible flower.
